The 91st Orio Chowder Almost Here! Sept 4!:
Since 1920 the Orio community and Wabash Church has sponsored the Orio Chowder. This year's event is on September 4,  the Saturday of the Labor Day Weekend. Come on out and enjoy the day with your friends and family. It's a great place to reestablish old friendships and reconnect with distance family. Great food, entertainment and games in the hickory grove! See pictures of past Orio Chowders here.

Wabash's Contemporary Service moves to 10:30 a.m.:
On September 12, our contemporary
worship service will begin one hour
earlier, at 1030 a.m. If you haven't
yet participated in this new service
at Wabash, why not drop in and visit?
Pastor Jonathan leads this upbeat
gathering with a thought-provoking
talk after a time of praise-singing
and prayer.

The other Sunday morning worship opportunities remain the same with traditional worship at 9 a.m., fellowship time at 10 a.m. and Sunday School for all ages at 10:30 a.m. And for every service there is first-class nursery care.

It's Great Banquet Time Again!:
As the autumn season gets closer, the leadership of the men's and women's Hickory Grove Great Banquet teams prepare for the fall weekends.  The men's weekend will be October 21-24, and the women's November 4-7. Wabash Church is proud to sponsor these regular events, which utilize the new Bliss Center, the Community Hall, and the church building. If you haven't yet signed up for one of these, or perhaps don't know about Great Banquet, go here. Your 72-hour weekend can be a time of spiritual enrichment and discovering God's plan for your life!
